Our top 10 Blink-182 songs list takes a look at one of the great American rock and roll bands formed in the 1990s in the city of Poway, California. The band’s formation began in the early 90s. The group would release their first album in 1995 entitled Cheshire Cat. Two years later Blink-182 would sign a major label record deal with MCA records and released the album entitled Dude Ranch. While the Dude Ranch album was a major success, it was the band’s third album release and second major label release entitled Enema Of The State that turned the group into a household name. Over a 25 year period, Blink 182 as released eight studio albums. They are regarded as one of the most successful modern rock bands of the late 90s and 2000’s. Our top 10 Blink-182 songs list presents 10 of our favorite Blink 182 songs.

# 10 – Josie

We open up our Top 10 Blink-182 Songs list with the great song “Josie.” The song was released on the band’s album entitled Dude Ranch. It was the fourth and final single released from the album. The record was released in 1997. There were so many great songs on the Dude Ranch album, but “Josie,” has always been one of our favorites. This is such the perfect opening song in the way the tune starts out with its Pete Townshend guitar riff setting up the rest of the tune that of course sounds nothing at all like The Who. This is very different rock and roll from that 70s sound. This is the sound of the 1990s and Blink-182 were one of the leading bands of that 90s punk rock pop sound that became so popular with bands like Sum 41, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Fall Out Boy, The Offspring and Paramore.

# 9 – Blame It On My Youth

Continuing with our Blink-182 Songs list we turn to one of the band’s most recent songs  titled “Blame It on My Youth.” The song was released only two years ago in 2019 on the band’s great album entitled Nine. This would become Blink-182’s ninth eighth studio record. The song “Blame It on My Youth” was released as the opening single on the album. The song did quite well on the rock and roll music charts peaking at number 11 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The band doesn’t sound much different in 2019 then they did in 1995. The video features a well known graffiti artist known as Risk.

# 8 – Up All Night

In the number eight spot on our Blink-182 Songs list we take a listen to this dark sounding song entitled “Up All Night.” The band sounds as heavy as they have ever sounded on this killer track. The song was released on the band’s seventh album entitled Neighborhoods. The song would peak at number three on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks.  There are some heavy Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath like riffs that appear at the beginning and end of this song presenting a sound we had never heard before from Blink-182

# 7 – The Rock Show

On the song “The Rock Show,” we go back to the more traditional Blink-182 Songs sound. The song “The Rock Show,” was released on the album Take Off Your Pants and JacketThe album was released in 2001. The song hit number 2 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock tracks charts. It was also a big hit in the United Kingdom where it was a top 20 hit on the United Kingdom Pop Charts.

# 6 – Bored To Death

In the number 7 spot on our Blink-182 Songs list is a real big one from the band. The song “Bored to Death” was released on the band’s seventh studio album in 2016 entitled California. Matt Skiba who had replaced Blink-182 founding guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge sang lead on this fantastic song. The song would wind up a huge success for the band as it went all the way to number one on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Track Charts. The band had not had a number one hit in twelve years so this was a big deal for the band. There’s definitely a more mature sound on this track than we had ever heard before from the band Blink-182. This is a great one.

# 5 – Feeling This

At the halfway point on our Blink-182 Songs list we present another knock out song from Blink-182 entitled “Feeling This.” The song was released on the band’s fifth studio album simply titled Blink-182. It was released as the lead single from the album in 2003. What song did extremely well on the Billboard Rock and Roll charts hitting number 2 on the Mainstream Rock tracks charts. Fans drama Travis Baker is on fire on this one. The song really showcase the drummers talents on this one from the opening beat to the last note played.

# 4 – First Date

Blink-182 has always had a great sense of humor in their music and their videos. This song and video is a great showcase for that sense of humor. The song “First Date” was released on the band’s fourth studio album 2001 entitled  Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. The song was released as the second single from the record. This is easily one of our favorite Blink-182 songs of all time and it’s just fun watching how the band goofs on themselves.

# 3 – Adam’s Song

In the number three spot on our Blink-182 Songs list we turn to a song entitled “Adam’s Song,” that is easily on of their fans favorites songs. If you have ever seen the band in concert and saw the reaction to this song you would understand why. It just has that special something in the melody and groove that all their fans loved. Take a listen and see if you can hear it to.

# 2 – I Miss You

In the United Kingdom the song became a top-10 hit on the UK singles charts. It would also become one of their biggest selling singles of their career hitting platinum in sales.

There probably was not much doubt over which Blink-182 song we would pick for the number one spot on our Blink-182 Songs list. “All The Small Things,” was released on the band’s album Enema of the State. It was the band’s third album released in 1999. “All The Small Things,” would become the band’s biggest hit single of their career. The song went straight to number one on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart. It would also become the band’s only top 10 single on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was just as successful in the United Kingdom where hit number two on the UK singles chart.
