This song is one of the tracks he recorded that had the potential of having crossover appeal. This song wasn’t written to make you think. It doesn’t have a deep message. It’s simply a party tune. The purpose of the song was for you to chill out and listen to it. Chris Brown helped write this song and it’s not hard to see that. It sounds like something Chris Brown would sing himself. The bouncy song has excellent production. The music is sleek and will hold your attention until it’s done. It has a beat that’s perfect for the club. The smooth synthesizer will stay in your head. The drumbeat is the standout instrument on the track. The strings and piano are also fire. The chorus is catchy, but repetitive.
He says the same thing over and over so it’s not hard to learn at all. Wiz Khalifa uses AutoTune while he sings. He doesn’t use it while he’s rapping. His skills are very good on the track. He is a talented rapper so he does have some credibility when he talks about how good he is. He may come off like he’s being braggadocious, but if you can get past that you will enjoy the song.
# 8 – You And Your Friends ft. Snoop Dogg and Ty Dolla Sign
This party song is from the Blacc Hollywood album. The track has a hip-hop sound. The banger is about a man wanting a woman and her friends to join him for an after party. He wants the ladies to know that he’s different from the other guys in the club. The lyrics are what you expect from a club song. This is a perfect summer song or if you want to enjoy yourself in a club. The rappers want to have fun and party, but they want the women to join them. Wiz Khalifa flirts with a girl while Snoop Dogg wants a woman who looks like Jennifer Holliday.
The song mentions women, but doesn’t degrade too much. They don’t put women on a pedestal, but they don’t exploit them too much. The music is perfect for the club. The music is synth-heavy. The beat is bouncy and has a west coast sound. Ty Dolla Sign opens the song with the chorus. He utilizes AutoTune while he’s singing. He didn’t go overboard with the AutoTune, but you do notice it while he’s singing. Wiz Khalifa tries to convince the ladies that other men are too soft for them. He tries to convince them that he’s the hard one. He also uses AutoTune while he’s rapping. He uses AutoTune as much as Ty Dolla Sign.
Snoop Dogg appears in the last verse to support Wiz Khalifa. Snoop Dogg is a legend in the rap game so his laidback sound is very appreciated. He doesn’t use AutoTune while he’s rapping. The song is infectious and will stay in your head.

The celebratory song is from the Rolling Papers album. The song has a Euro club beat. The tribute song is about growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He’s also singing about his car. His car has the colors yellow and black because of his favorite football team. The colors represent the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wiz Khalifa wrote a song about his town, but he talks about other things. He talks about his fame and women. You don’t have to be from Pittsburgh to appreciate this song.
This song is a tribute song to his town, but he does sounds like he’s bragging about himself. He sounds confident as he talks about himself. You will want to sing along with him. Wiz Khalifa’s rapping skills are impressive. He raps in a way that allows you to rap along with him. You can follow along even if you don’t have rap skills. If you can get past him talking about everything that he has, you will definitely enjoy this track.

The loyal song is from the Rolling Papers album. It has a pop beat. The trustworthy song is about him being there for the woman he loves. The title is misleading. If you go by the title, the song would appear to be about someone taking drugs. The song is about a man who will show up whenever she needs him. He’s having an affair with someone who’s involved with someone else. He lets her know that he would “roll up” and be there whenever she wanted him.
This song is out of Wiz Khalifa’s comfort zone. He writes songs about partying, women, cars, etc. He also talks about his career. This track is different because he’s talking about being in a relationship. This song is emotional and touching. He shows some vulnerability on this track as he talks about what he would do for her. This song is a pleasant surprise and he should do more tracks like this one. He maintains his style and swag on the song, but it’s different from the other entries on our list.
