As we travel through the first decade of the 2000s, rock music just continues to become more diverse across all its subgenres. The old guard continues to stick around with some really good new albums released by legends like David Bowie, Lou Reed, and Steely Dan. The Allman Brothers Band would also release one of the best studio albums of their career. It would also become the last studio album the The Allman Brothers Band would ever release. 2003 also saw the release of debut albums by Fall Out Boy, Shinedown, Kings Of Leon, The Raveonettes, Metric, The Dresden Dolls, Jet, and soon to be legendary female killer vocalists Joss Stone and Amy Winehouse.
