Our Best Rock Albums of 2007 looks at a year that featured the first new Eagles studio album in 28 years and a Springsteen LP that blew his fans away. As we have seen in each year of the 2000s, veteran rock stars like McCartney, Springsteen, Elton John and more kept releasing new music building a strong argument that classic rock was not dead as these legends kept delivering great new records. Of course, new and younger rock fans were also celebrating releases by new artists that they could call their own. Bands like Arcade Fire, Radiohead and Paramore released groundbreaking records that continued to keep these new artists at the forefront of rock music in the 2000s.
