Our Top 200 Songs About Food article was written to serve as a helpful guide for people searching for songs about food on all food items. Sometimes, a song is specifically about food; other times, a food item is just used in the title, although the song may not have anything to do with food and is just used symbolically. That’s an important point to make. We saw that constantly with terms like sugar and cherry.
Most of the songs on this list about food are in the rock genre since we are a classic rock history site. Nonetheless, we included some classics outside of the rock genre for those looking for oldies or other styles. Sometimes, we would list a group of songs together under one food product like pie or sugar. Other times, it was just random songs that popped up in our heads. We wanted to keep it both entertaining and helpful. The order is just simply random.
We tried to dig deeper than most other lists and dig up some songs you may have never heard of, but when listing 200, there will always be some of the classics that we could not avoid. This one took a long time to put together. Bon Appetit!
